*BARCLAYS ANNOUNCE WINNERS FOR “MKOPO BONANZA DRAW”

Barclays Bank has today announced the winners for the just ended “Barclays Mkopo Bonanza”. The winners were obtained after a Promotion Raffle Draw conducted at the Banks Alfa House Offices, the draw was witnessed by members of Press from various media houses and was supervised by a representative from The Gaming Board of Tanzania.  Addressing the few invited guests Miss Sarah Munema, Barclays Bank Marketing Manager said the Bank started the “Barclays Mkopo Bonanza” in May this year. The promotion aimed at giving loans to individual employees from both Goverment and Private Sectors. The Bank set an offer to award the lucky winners who will be obtained after the Draw, these are those customers who applied and received their loans between May and late September this year. The award is to be given in form of the Bank waiving the winners loan contribution for a specific period of time depends on the prize won. Miss Sarah said, “Our Mkopo Bonanza aimed at assisting our esteemed customers to realize their dreams, we’ve given out loans to thousand of Barclay customers countrywide. As we promised back when we started, we are here today to witness those few of our customers who will win BIG!.” Miss Sarah Said the first winner will be awarded with a twelve months waive of his/her monthly loan contributions. Another twenty winners will receive a waive of their one month loan contributions for each of them. The Amount of monthly contribution to be waived does not depend on amount of ones contribution, its any amount that a winner contributes every month.  Adding to that, Mr. Adam Mbaga, the Barclays Bank Assets Product Manager said although the “Barclays Mkopo Bonanza” has ended just recently, the Bank is still issuing loans to employees of both Goverment and Private sector. He urged the Tanzanians from different corners of the country to visit the Barclays Bank Branches and seek for the available Loans to assist them realise their dreams. The Barclays Loan is given in different amounts to employees depending on their salary, the maximum amount one can get is fifty million shilings. Miss Sarah Munema finished by appreciating the support from the Bank customers countrywide, she thanked them for choosing Barclays Bank. He urged those who have not applied for loans to apply because this is Banks effort to make sure people do not just speak of their dreams.... but wake up and make them happen in real life.
